Terms of Service
Plain terms for booking work with us.
Estimates and quotes
We diagnose the problem first, then give you a written price before we start work. If we find something else once the wall or floor is open, we tell you and get your approval before doing anything beyond the original scope.
Payment
Payment is due on completion of work unless we agree otherwise in writing. Accepted payment methods and any deposit requirements: [CONFIRM payment terms with client].
Warranty
We stand behind our workmanship for [CONFIRM warranty duration with client]. This covers our labour and does not extend manufacturer warranties on parts or fixtures beyond what the manufacturer provides.
Emergency service
Emergency calls are handled as quickly as we can safely respond, based on your location and the time of day. After-hours pricing, if any: [CONFIRM with client].
Cancellations
Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule. [CONFIRM cancellation notice period and any fees with client].
Limitation of liability
We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. To the extent allowed by Ontario law, we are not responsible for pre-existing conditions we did not cause, or for damage arising from issues we were not told about or could not reasonably have discovered.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario.
